Suggestion: clear from the recent task list without killing the application, just like the aosp system
So if you are running a game and clear recents list it will still run in a background? I highly doubt that. And trying to keep app's UI in memory is pointless in Android, that's not how it works. If app needs something running in a background it should create a service and not rely on activity being held in memory, it will never work.
